Comparison of stainless steels
If you are interested, we can produce products from your required stainless steel see below:
AISI 304 (standard production)
Other designation: X5CrNi 18-10, 1.4301, 17240, "food grade"
Austenitic stainless steel alloyed with chromium and nickel with low carbon content. Resists water, steam, atmospheric moisture, weak acids and weak alkalis. Suitable for industrial atmospheres. Do not use products containing chlorine. Steel is not magnetic.
AISI 316
Other designations: X5CrNiMo 17-12-2, 1.4401, 17346, "industrial".
Austenitic stainless steel alloyed with chromium, nickel and molybdenum with low carbon content. Resists water, seawater, steam and humidity. Suitable for industrial atmospheres. Resistant to chlorinated products, moderately concentrated acids and alkalis except nitric acid. Steel is not magnetic.
AISI 430
Other designations: X6Cr17, 1.4016, 17040
Ferritic chromium alloyed low carbon stainless steel. Resists water, steam, atmospheric moisture, weak acids and weak alkalis. Suitable for use in indoor and non-industrial atmospheres. Do not use products containing chlorine or mineral salts. Steel is magnetic.
